the anxiety project

What is the Anxiety Project?
The Anxiety Project is a project designed by psychologist, Michael Hawton and the NSW Primary Principal’s Association to assist primary students to mange their anxious behaviour.
It is a large scale, evidence-based project, delivered by teachers through a series of lessons and the use of teacher led and parent led conversational techniques.
These interventions are aimed at helping a child to learn skills to manage their anxiety. The Anxiety Project is a whole school project and happens in every classroom, in the playground and is most effective when parents work in partnership.
